Saudi Hydrodynamics Co. Ltd. (Saudi Hydro) provides complete flange and surface restoration services for industrial piping systems, valves, and pressure-retaining equipment used in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and power sectors. Our machine shop in Jubail is equipped to restore damaged or corroded sealing surfaces to original specifications, ensuring safe and leak-free reassembly during shutdowns and maintenance operations.

Flange Refacing and Machining

We perform precision refacing, resurfacing, and machining of flanges ranging from small process lines to large-diameter pressure vessel connections. Our lathes and vertical turning machines can handle flanges up to 4 meters in diameter and 32 tons in weight, allowing accurate machining of raised-face, flat-face, and ring-type joint (RTJ) profiles.

Our technicians ensure the correct surface finish (Ra value) as per ASME B16.5 and API 6A standards, using controlled feed and tool geometry to achieve the required serrated or smooth finish. This guarantees proper gasket seating and long-term sealing integrity under high pressure.

Valve and Gasket Surface Restoration

Saudi Hydro also offers valve body and cover refacing, including seat lapping, groove re-machining, and sealing face repair for gate, globe, check, and control valves. We correct alignment, restore flatness, and eliminate corrosion pits or wear damage, helping clients avoid costly replacements.

Surface Milling, Drilling, and Seat Re-Machining

Our workshop provides controlled milling, drilling, tapping, and seat machining of component interfaces, pump bases, and mechanical joints. This service supports both new fabrication and repair work, ensuring precision assembly and alignment of mating parts.

Blue Matching and Flatness Verification

To verify sealing reliability, blue matching and flatness checks are carried out after machining. This ensures full surface contact and proper load distribution when bolted. Dimensional inspection reports are issued for all restored parts, supported by internal QA/QC records.
