Hydraulic Cylinder Repair and Overhaul

We undertake comprehensive overhauling of hydraulic cylinders used in presses, cranes, lifting equipment, mobile rigs, and industrial machinery. Each job begins with careful disassembly, inspection, and dimensional evaluation to identify wear, scoring, or internal leakage.

Our repair process includes:

  • Rod re-chroming or re-machining to restore surface finish and correct tolerances.
  • Barrel honing and polishing to eliminate scoring and achieve uniform bore finish.
  • Replacement of seals, bushings, and bearings using high-quality materials suited for pressure and temperature conditions.
  • Reassembly and alignment of piston, gland, and rod assemblies under controlled conditions.
  • Hydrostatic pressure testing to verify performance, pressure holding, and leak-free operation.

All cylinders are tested and certified according to international hydraulic standards (ISO 6020 / ISO 3320) and client-specific specifications.

Hydraulic Component Machining and Testing

Saudi Hydro also offers machining, repair, and refurbishment of hydraulic components, including manifold blocks, pistons, glands, and rod eyes. We ensure dimensional accuracy and concentricity during re-machining and verify all critical surfaces before assembly.

Our workshop includes a 250-ton hydraulic press for controlled assembly, disassembly, and testing operations. Each overhauled cylinder is issued with a test report and dimensional inspection certificate, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
