Chemical Cleaning Services

Saudi Hydro performs controlled chemical cleaning for process equipment, pipelines, exchangers, and vessels to remove scale, rust, organic fouling, and corrosion products.
We use inhibited acids, alkaline solutions, and specialty chemical blends formulated to clean effectively without damaging the parent metal or system integrity.

Our chemical cleaning services include:

NORM Decontamination and Controlled Cleaning

Saudi Hydro also provides NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) decontamination for small components and pipeline inspection tools at our dedicated facility in Rastanura.
All activities are supervised by a certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and performed in accordance with Saudi Aramco Radiation Safety Manual and K.A.CARE regulations.

Our NORM decontamination capabilities include:

  • High-pressure hydro cleaning and chemical washing of PIGs, valves, and fittings
  • Surface contamination monitoring using calibrated radiation meters
  • Collection and tagging of radioactive residues for secure containment
